About Beto Pérez,
yoga instructor in the tradition of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois
Beto began his practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in 2007.
In the beginning he was very skeptical about the benefits of the practice but as time passed and he began to experience the benefits within himself, his interest for yoga grew. After years of practice and taking workshops with internationally known teachers such as Baptiste Marceau, David Swenson, Greg Nardi and Kino MacGregor he made his first travel to Mysore, India in 2012 to study at Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute. After four trips to Mysore he received authorization level 2 by Sharath Jois.
In addition to his asana practice, he has studied pranayama with Sri V. Venkateshaia, yoga sutras chanting with Vidushi Ranjini, and philosophy of yoga by self learning.
He has taught workshops all around Mexico, Spain and China; where he resides since 2021. His approach to practice is non-dogmatic, understanding yoga as a tool for mental alchemy and human evolution.
